Philosophy Wireless
by Celso Cândido
@ 1. The last truth. - If you don't have a work, you are nothing, you'll be nothing ...
@ 2. Philosophy and dialogue. - Philosophy is, in first place, dialogue. Dialogue of ourself with the world, of ourself with the other, of ourself with ourself. Dialogue with the silence. Alive dialogue of the soul in movement. It was this own intensity to the dialogue that, according Plato, got lost with the advent of the word written on paper. Static sophist word.
@ 3. The worst mistake. - Does it exist worse mistake than to deceive ourselves of friend? To mistake the enemy for a friend? Only maybe not to have any enemy...
@ 4. Death and life 1. - Not to confuse the thought of the death with the own death - lesson number one for the lovers of life.
@ 5. Death and life 2. - Great part of the experience of life is the learning of death. It is live to die. How live to die in the best possible way? How live to leave to the future generations an example? a work? a life? There is no life without death.
@ 6. Our world. - Then, what became the world in what we live? A silent carnage; or better, silenced. A daily horror where life and death get mixed up and, for anybody, the day after is right. The uncertainty of the growing violence, of the excesses of the will of power, of the prepotency and meanness move forward in wide steps... in spite of the whole human genius.
@ 7. The fiction Metaphysics. - Being is fiction. To live, to think, to imagine, to want, to project are invariably fictions. Fictions of a great and only fiction. Self fiction.
@ 8. Cybernetics complexity. - In the society of complexity no solution will be simple. The complexity of time and space, the complexity of communication and knowledge - amongst the most evident ones. Naturally, a complex problem, as they are the problems of the current complex society, it cannot find a solution through simple methods. It is in this context that the cybernetics becomes one of the most important contemporary sciences, since we really wanted to solve complex problems using tools and complex methods.
@ 9. Productive creativity. - What is creativity? It is, in first place, an emerging phenomenon. Of the emergency, to be more precise. The creativity makes emerge what before it didn't exist, it still had not been accomplished. The institutional organizational question, but also maybe existential, it is of the creation of creativity patterns (‘standards of creativity'). Keeping in mind they become the productive organizational creativity and do not obstruct its free development.
@ 10. Work and wealth today. - Without a doubt, it seems that the inherited notions of the last two centuries about work are about to transform, and then, become completely visible. The complexity of the society, of their products and consumption markets, “Integrated Worldwide Capitalism”, the new planetary communication forms, the great poverty strongholds and misery, the continental and intercontinental markets, the concrete limits of the state-nations, call for an understanding new of the work as wealth creator and social value. The work, from at least the end of the "economy of the war" until the "industrial and commercial economy" and of the “pos-modern society”, it was always a great source of the prosperity and wealth of individuals and nations. Once contained the productive cycle of the war as way hegemonic of economical and social relationship the work became the main instrument of this relationship. The work and the trade that are correlate each other are a peaceful production way, even if, for the individual it is a very bearable one, as it attests the poetry of Hesíodo and its arduous work in the field, in the origins of the agricultural civilization. Through the work and of the trade the men notice a more advantageous way of they obtain what want, in the measure in that, fruit of the perspiration of its face, the work is the middle of the peaceful trade in which is won less maybe, but in compensation it is not ashamed more the largest risk when of the warlike exchange, the one of losing the life. “The war is the impulse, the trade the calculation" - Benjamin Constant says. In the war we took risk of winning a lot, but also of losing everything, the life. Be slave, feudal, craft, industrial or postindustrial in the societies of exchange free and peaceful commercial, work becomes the way hegemonic of wealth production and individual and social value. More this work becomes immaterial, intellectual, less important becomes the exercise of the human physical force. In short, the cycle of the Prometheus chained is definitively ending.
